Our STEM activities are exciting. We start off at A-Pod devising our experiment. Then we skate or stroll the core trail to collect our samples and adventure along the way. Finally we return to A-Pod where we run the experiments that we set up with our team. We make observations, collect data and run experiments. Each week we have a new theme: earth, water, air & fire. Each day we explore, build things, create, perform chemical reactions, and more….

We know movement is important for children and adults alike. At A-Pod we get creative on how we get moving. We use Oculus Virtual Reality activities for movement and group cooperation. We build and complete obstacle courses to test our strength and agility. We turn jump ropes to practice timing, rhythm and communication in small groups. We skate, bike, and stroll the core trail on our nature scavenger hunt adventures.

STEM is now referred to as STEAM, where we add the A in for Art. At A-Pod we integrate art into our STEM topics of the week. For example, we make 3-D planets and volcanoes, we paint the flowers that we extract oils from, and we use pendulums to make art. Our digital art options include video production, video editing, coding for kids, and more. Let us know the types of art/coding options you’re Interested in and we will customize a plan for you.
