Children begin their afternoon with HW time. There are individual desks for students who wish to work alone, or tables for collaborative work. We have teachers on staff who can assist children with HW as needed.

The crux of our after-school program is our STEM activity. Each week there is a new theme, such as space, under water or rainbows. Each day we teach from a different science lens. Mondays are for life science. Tuesdays physical science. Wednesdays we do chemistry. Thursdays are our tech day.

Combining arts with science builds on children’s interests in nature while allowing artistic expression. The final portion of our after-school program includes time dedicated to the arts, including painting or drawing, music, poetry, story-telling, and more.
